Happy 9 Months Keaton Jay!

Happy 9 Months Keaton Jay!

You're 9 Months old today. Your picture is a bit different this month because we're on the road! We are in Cincinnati for your 9 month birthday, and how cool is this, we happened to go to a Cincinnati Reds game! It was only fitting that we get your picture in a seat with a number 9! Here's what you've been up to this month:

  • You're in 9 month and 12 month clothing. I think you've had a growth spurt! I can't wait to see what your stats are at your 9 month check up!
  • Size 3 diapers
  • You're eating everything in sight! (See picture below) You have started eating finger foods and are doing well with your pincher fingers! You love bananas, puffs, chicken, and rice cookies, in addition to all the baby food you're eating. Three jars (at least) a day.
  • You're moving all around. You're still army crawling, but you sure can move! You've started pulling yourself up on the ottoman this month, and I have a feeling that you're going to be crawling on all fours very soon!
  • You've got tooth number 3 joining the other two on the bottom! No signs of any teeth on top yet!
  • You're my blond hair, blue-green eyed baby. To me, you look so much different than Kerrington and Kellan. You've got a much lighter skin tone, and of course, they've got brown hair and eyes. I think you're still just as beautiful as the other two, in your own unique way!
  • I see a little curl at the ends of your hair!
  • You're making some sweet lil baby noises, but nothing distinct or clear yet!

9 months and celebrating at the Cincinnati Reds stadium

Mischevious lil stinker...you grabbed brother's yogurt cup and went to town...all in about 39 seconds!

Beach day!

You walk right up to this trash can and knock it over!

Right through it...thats your style.

Here you are again...getting your self in to trouble! This time, Ollie's dog bowl!

Welcome, tooth number three!

Cute lil curl, see it?

Keaton's first Booboo

Keaton got his first boo-boo today. His big sister may or may not have had something to do with it...

Thankfully, this huuuge fat lip didn't last very long and he was ok. Maybe, just maybe your sister won't try to pick you up anymore?

Date night with the hubster

It was a long time coming, but me and my main squeeze had a date night! Since they're so few and far between these days (and because we had a gift card), we went all out. Ruth Chris baby. It was my first time. I thought for a minute that I was in heaven. I ate an appetizer, bread, salad, and steak. It was amazing. Delicious. Quiet. Peaceful.

Love this guy.

And, who wouldn't love this face?

Daddy is HOOOOMME!

We have survived. We made it two weeks without our daddy. Hallelujah. We were so happy to get to the hospital to welcome him home today, but first we had to make him a sign so he would recognize us!

After a long wait...we spied daddy!

Kellan couldn't resist and he ran to give a big hug to his daddy!

Kisses from Kerrington

I recognize you daddy....

What a relief! Our daddy is back.

While daddy is away...

Daddy traveled to Zimbabwe for two weeks, so we had to some things for fun to make the time pass quickly!

Sunday matinee at the Savannah Theater to watch Savannah Live!

Pool fun...K was so excited to show off her swimming skills to her daddy!

Ellis Square with some sweet friends!

Dairy Queen...kids eat free night.

Competitive bowling.

A first night UPSTAIRS in Elevate! K is growing up!

K got to visit at her friend Austyn's house, so Kellan had his buddy Caden over.

Shaving in the tub.
We missed our daddy, but we tried to pack in a ton of fun in to the two weeks he was away. It didn't make up for him not being around, but it did distract our minds a little bit!
