We were out on Saturday and just happened to drive by signs for "Extreme Home Makeover" parking and shuttle. After lunch, we decided to go check it out since it seemed like a once in a lifetime opportunity. After hopping on the bus and driving around the corner, we, with about 200 other people stood behind the fences and watched the crew work on the house. Everyone was attempting to spot Ty, or any of the other designers. We heard a bunch of screaming, and there he was!!! Ty was out! He was being filmed walking into the house, and the funny thing about it was, he did it atleast 5 times! I guess no one's perfect!
The coolest part of it was, some kids from Christ's Church at Mason had a tent set up right across from the build and were selling lemonade and donating it to our VBS missions!!! How neat! One of the girls got interviewed and might be on TV.
Some friends from church live diagonal to the build and Drew and I hopped the fence and got to sit in their front yard a.k.a. the VIP section for awhile. It was awesome! Such a cool experience! I can't wait to see the episode, I heard it airs in September!
