The Zoo

Yesterday I took Kerrington to the zoo for the first time! I wanted to take her there and a couple of other places before we left Cincinnati because I have memories of these places when I was younger. Looks like the zoo will be the only place we'll get to go to, but maybe we'll have a chance to go when she's a bit older and we come back to visit.

I met a few friends from work there and we walked around and saw all the animals! With Kerrington only being 5 months (tomorrow), I'm sure she just saw funny looking things she's never seen before, but we snapped a few pics for memories!

I think her favorite part was the manatees. It's inside and you get to see them and other fish in a huge tank. I put Kerrington next to the tank and she just watched the fish as they swam by. I bet she wanted to get in the water!!!

We had a good time, we only wish that daddy could have been there. He was in Savannah trying to find us a place to live. I bought Kerrington a book as a souvenir and taped her ticket to the back. I thought I should get a book to read instead of a stuffed animal until she's old enough to ask for those!
