Today we had Kerrington's 9 month check up! She got a perfectly clean bill of health and we couldn't be happier! She's just a joy in our lives and we of course couldn't imagine things without her now! We're so excited to celebrate this Christmas as a family of four (including Ollie, of course).
Here's what our girl is up to lately:
- She weighs 19lbs 9oz, 75th percentile for weight...we weren't surprised to hear that one!
- She is 27.5 inches long, 50th percentile for height
- Her head circumference in 44 inches, 50th percentile
- She is in 9-12 month clothing
- She is wearing size 3 or 4 diapers
- She is eating EVERYTHING in site. Table food is her preference now...she hasn't turned down anything we've given her!
- She is still breastfeeding! I'm so thankful for this, I hope to go til she is 1.
- She's saying 'momma', and 'dada', and some 'bbbaaabbaa's here and there, but pretty sure that doesn't mean anything. Any other thing that comes out of her mouth is a yell...our child doesn't 'talk' :)
- She has officially five teeth as of today. Her middle left, top tooth broke through on her 9 month birthday yesterday!
- She's still commando crawling! Every once in awhile she will get up on her hands and knees and rock back and forth, but no movement.
- She loves to stand now. She will stand on the side of the couch for as long as she can, she's just starting to move her little feet around.
- She loves Ollie! They're slowly becoming best friends. When she first started coming toward him, he'd bolt. Now, he just lays there and lets her crawl all over him. I see a great friendship starting!
Well, as you can see our angel is just moving right a long! In no time I'll be writing on her about her 1 year birthday...time sure does fly! We've got a busy month or so coming up. The Holidays, a trip home to Indiana, and... we're moving! Just about 5 mins away, but to a big house! God is good....that's all I can say.
We're thankful for Kerrington each and every day. She's such a blessing. God just continues to show us His goodness and faithfulness...
