Happy Birthday Adeline!

This past Friday Drew, Kerrington, and I drove to Atlanta to spend time with Josh, Elizabeth, and Adeline for her 1st birthday! We had a great trip up there, (Kerrington slept the whole way) and a great day. We were honored to spend time with the Swaffords on Adeline's special day.
When we got to Atlanta, we headed for lunch, then took the girls to the Children's Museum. It is a very neat place, tons of activities for kids of all ages. After the Museum, we headed back to their place and Drew and Josh went to a basketball game with some friends. Elizabeth, Adeline, Kerrington and I just spent the rest of the afternoon at the house. It was a great night!

The birthday party was scheduled for the next day, but unfortunately, that night Josh came home and got very sick! He and Elizabeth ended up spending the night in the E.R.. With the advice from the doctor, they cancelled the party because they were afraid it might be contagious and didn't want little ones to get sick. It was going to be a great party too. Josh made the cake himself, but we still were able to celebrate, and Adeline was able to spend some time with family and friends anyway! We decided to head back home, in case it was contagious, we didn't want to be far away from home! Even with the unfortunate event, we had a great time and are looking forward to seeing them again in two weeks!!!

That is so sweet! You are so lucky that they have each other to grow up with- even if the miles do separate you! They are both so precious!
