My little handful

Kerrington is almost 15 months now and boy is she starting to be a handful! She is so entertaining, and makes me laugh every day, but I joke with my mom that I don't want to look to close in the mirror because she's probably giving me a ton of gray hairs already!

She is in to everything, and very independent. She loves to be able to do things on her own, and isn't very fearful either. We kid that she must have her dad's personality because she also is strong willed, and has to be told multiple times "no" if she is doing something she shouldn't' be, and then typically still tries to do it anyway!

I love her more than I could ever imagine, here are some recent pics that might explain a little of what I'm talking about!

Our little fashonista, posing for a shot.

Okay, here is what I mean. The other day, I was in the office, cleaning up. K had been in her room, but I heard her go into her bathroom. When I went in to check on her, she was IN the bathtub, with the curtain still drawn! She had crawled into the tub, by herself, and started getting all the toys out to play!

Sis at the fountains downtown. She was a little too timid for these...although, I would be too! I think if she would have been on top of one when it went off she would have been shot up in the air!

This was after her second busted lip... we were in her room talking to Gigi and Mo on skype and she sat down and her lip met my knee and started bleeding immediately! A little ice and she was back to normal :)

And here she is climbing the porch stairs on her own! Something she does quite often nowadays, with supervision of course!

Another funny incident that happened recently.... my mom was over and I was watching another little girl Mary. We had finished up lunch and the girls were playing in the kitchen. My mom was helping me wipe up the floors really quickly. About 30 seconds went by and I hadn't heard a lot of commotion so I turned to see what the girls were doing. I saw Mary immediately, but couldn't see Kerrington. I got up and called for her, but no answer. I went into the living room...she wasn't there, walked back into the kitchen, wasn't there. So my mom started getting worried at this point. We both were calling for her. I went to the back (it has a gate, but sometimes its open) to see if she had walked to her room...nope, came back in the living room...calling for her, still no answer. So we both started to freak out a little. We decided to go back into the back rooms to see if she had gotten into a closet or something. After a through check, no Kerrington.... I came BACK into the kitchen, thought maybe she had gotten into a cabinet...nope. I was still calling for her and all the sudden I heard her make a noise, but couldn't see her! I opened up cabinets and finally opened up the little closet that we keep all the cleaning supplies in, and out walks Kerrington! She had closed herself in the closet, and hadn't made a peep until then!!!! Immediately I start cracking up because she walked out like no big deal. I think my mom had to sit down for awhile though!
She keeps me on my toes, that's for sure!!!
