A Marine Graduation

We had the distinguished opportunity to attend a Marine graduation today. All I can say is 'Wow!'. You can't leave a place like that and not feel more proud to be an American!
Our dear friends, so much so we consider them family, invited us up to Fripp Island where their son, Jeremy was graduating from a 12 week Marine boot camp. This is not any ordinary family.. Ed and Carol Smith are two amazing people. They're genuine, kind, loving, compassionate, and funny! Their 'Team' consists of four boys and one girl. Drew had the opportunity to grow close to this family when they took him in as an intern at church for a few summers. They accepted me when I came in to the picture, and well, the rest is history.
We love them, and were honored to be invited to attend Jeremy's graduation and spend the day with them afterward.

Not only did he graduate, he was a distinguished graduate, finishing at the top of his company.
