The Humphreys: Happy 1 Month Keaton Jay!

Keaton! You're one month old today! Like always, this month has sure flown by! You're the perfect addition to our family. We all love you so very much. I hope you can feel that! A little bit about you in this first month:

You're a great eater. You took to breast feeding immediately. You love to eat, and I love the time we have together when you do. You're eating every 2 1/2-3 hours during the day and nursing on and off throughout the night. You're my snuggle buddy at night, I often fall asleep while you're nursing and when I wake up you're usually just sleeping away next to me!
You're a good sleeper. You sleep a lot (I'm not complaining). I love holding you while you sleep...it seems to be the best sleep you get.
You've spent the majority of your life so far being held. I don't believe you can spoil a baby, and if you can, I don't care. I know this time is precious, and soon enough you'll rather be playing than me holding you so I'm taking advantage of all I can get.
You didn't have to be on the bilirubin lights! Praise God! You managed to skip that and not follow in the footsteps of your brother and sister. Your jaundice did increase, but thankfully, but your fifth day it had started to decline.
You're still in newborn clothes. The 0-3 month clothing I've tried on you still seems too big.
I switched you to size 1 diapers just last week, right before your 1 month birthday. Your lil tush fit perfectly in the NB diapers. We mostly switched because we ran out of the NB and have plenty of the size ones.
I've noticed some sleepy smiles and I think I saw your first real smile on November 1st. You definitely smiled today...I captured it on my phone camera. Those smiles are so sweet.
I think you're starting to look a lil more like your big brother. I notice more when you're sleeping. Only time will tell.
Your eyes are still blue. I'm holding out that maybe you'll have your daddy's eyes. Right around the black of your eye is a very light blue color...maybe, just maybe it'll turn hazel?
You scream most of the time you're in your car seat. I told daddy that I figured you didn't like the car seat, but then I realized....you just don't like not being held. I can't blame you! I don't like not holding you! It's torture to hear you cry like that...breaks mommy's heart.
Your big brother and sister are just in love with you. They think you're great and love to give you kisses and hold you.
I'm taking a daily picture of you and posting it to Instagram. I love the idea of seeing you change throughout your first year. It'll be fun to look back on.
You experienced your first Holiday already...Halloween. You were a lobster and were the cutest thing! You went out trick or treating, but you were in a sling on me, and sleeping.
