Happy 3 Months Keaton Jay!

Sweet Boy! Three months ago, at this very time, we were sitting in the hospital room where you made your grand (and quite dramatic entrance! You've blessed us so far with three beautiful months and I can't wait to see you grow in the next 3! You're doing so well and adjusting to all the craziness around here...I guess that's what you have to do when you're the third! Here's what's going on with you:

• You're in 3 month clothing
• I just switched you to size two diapers yesterday. It was mostly out of convince, we were out of size ones and I had size twos available and they fit! I was a bit emotional about putting that size 2 diaper on you, that's just one more milestone that I wish you wouldn't meet. Not that I don't want you to grow...it's just that I want you to stay my itty bitty baby for just awhile longer...
• You're eating every 3ish hours during the day and you're just waking once to feed in the night! You sleep in the pea pod in our bed with us and it's been so great! We all get great sleep, and sleep makes us happy
• You're smiling up a storm these days and we're starting to hear some small giggles. I can't wait for that belly laugh. I know it's coming
• You're 'gooing' more and more these days as well! I love hearing those noises!
• You've started to discover your tongue! You also love to blow bubbles.
• Not sure about your eyes....I'm still holding on that you may have your daddy's eyes
• As you grow, its becoming more evident that you are going to look different than your brother and sister. Sure, you've got similar features, but you have a much lighter tone to you and are built a little different. I can't wait to see as you grow who you're going to look more like. Maybe you'll just be unique! 
• You cry when you're ready to eat and tired...and maybe when you've got some gas that you're trying to work out...that's about it...otherwise you're a happy baby!
• You'd rather be worn or held during the day for naps....if I try to put you down, the nap usually comes to an abrupt end. That's okay with me though, I'd rather be holding you!

You're the sweetest boy and everyone in this family just loves you so very much!

*January 20th....you started gabbing today...to your toy hanging on your car seat. I love your little voice!
