Happy 11 Months Keaton Jay!

Keaton Jay is 1 month away from turning the big ONE!! We are excited to have a one year old in the house again and watch as he grows, discovers, and learns new things each day! Here's what Keaton's been up to lately:

  • Wearing 12 month clothing
  • Size 3 diapers... I'm not sure on his weight, but we're on the tail end of a size 3 pack of diapers, so when this pack is done, I think we'll switch to the size 4s.
  • Keaton is a garbage disposal. He eats anything and everything that is put in front of him these days. And, if he doesn't have something to 'eat' himself (i.e. not spoon fed), he'll let you know about it. This is a dream come true. A not picky eater...I've never had one of these before!
  • He is still nursing about 3-4 times a day. Its obviously becoming less about nutrition and more of a comfort since he's eating so much table food, but we're going strong. We'll introduce some whole milk in the next month and see how it goes. I'm ready to wean when my lil guy is.
  • He is going to sleep around 7:30 and usually will come and visit mommy and daddy in our room around 4:30 in the morning. He doesn't need it, but he'll nurse back to sleep, and snuggle 'til its time to wake up. Drew and I love it, and believe that the time passes too quickly, so we'll enjoy our lil morning visitor for now!
  • He's crawling (hands and feet) every where! He's a quick one too!
  • He loves to stand up on furniture, but he doesn't go far, yet. I'm sure it's coming soon. The older two were both walking on or around their first birthdays so I'd imagine Keaton will do the same.
  • He does this really cute thing with his nose where he crinkles it up when he's being silly. It's the cutest.
  • He has two teeth on top, three on the bottom.
  • He knows how to give kisses now...open mouthed kisses, but kisses nonetheless.
  • As you can see, he has the cutest, most adorable blond hair and bluish-green eyes. This has got to be coming from his daddy. It's definitely not from me (I was brown hair and eyes from the day I was born). Either way, I love it. I love that he has his own unique look and I can't wait to see him grow!

Silly Pooh.

Mom, this is just silly.

The only way I could keep him still for approximately 0.3 seconds to snap some pictures. Give him food.

We are so in love with this lil guy. He's perfect and we are overjoyed that we've had these 330(ish) days to love and care for him.
