Sleepy head

This is something I thought I would never see. The other day, Kerrington was in her jumper. I put her in it often now, she's starting to really enjoy it. When she is in it, she is pretty active, looking around, and now that her feet are touching the ground, jumping up and down. This is a great time for me to get some things done around the house. That's exactly what I was doing, when I looked over and here my was my little angel, fast asleep! How can you not adore that!

Visit from the Humphreys

Drew's dad, stepmom, her son, and Drew's two younger brothers stopped by the on July 3rd for a quick visit. They live in Indiana, and haven't seen Kerrington since she was born, so luckily they were able to drive up and have dinner with us and have a short visit! Their youngest, Luke, is just 3 months older than Kerrington, so we got them together for some pics:

Long time no blog...

It's been awhile since I've blogged and oh how I've missed it! It's been a crazy couple of weeks, coupling with the fact we didn't have internet service for a some of that time. There was a storm a few weeks back and it knocked out our service, and we just recently got it back! Whew! Last week Drew was the dean at Woodland Lakes Christian Camp, so he was gone all week. Instead of being home alone all week with the baby, I went out to my parents for a visit and so I wasn't able to update then either. Finally, I was working all weekend so nows my first chance to get on here and post a few things. I might have a few posts in a row since it's been awhile, so just beware!

3 Months/ Father's Day

Today is a special day for two reasons! Today, our baby is three months old, and it's Drew's first Father's day! What's our girl up to theses days:

• she's weighing 13 lbs. 11 oz. (we know that after an unexpected doctor visit last Thursday, I'll explain later)
• everyone loves to comment on her rolls (she's got plenty of them)
• she loves sitting in her jumper
• she loves pooping in her jumper (probably why she likes to sit in it, huh)
• she's not eating overnight as frequently (still waking occasionally, but usually we can get her to fall back asleep)
• she is full of smiles (we can get a ton out of her after she eats...she's so happy)
• she's had her first (I hope of not many) bouts of pink eye
• she is sitting in the bumbo, and loving it
• her favorite noise to make is "agooooo", she'll go on and on with them, it's the most adorable sound in the world!
• she is in 3-6 month clothing (putting away the newborn and 0-3 was so sad!)
• she follows you around the room

Today we celebrated Father's Day with Drew and his family. Unfortunately my dad had to work today, so we couldn't celebrate with all the fathers in our lives, but it was a great day. Kerrington and I made a stepping stone with her footprints in it, and bought him a massage. We're sure he'll love getting that massage! Also, today was special because it was Kerrington's debut onstage with her daddy! Drew sang "Find Your Wings" while holding his baby girl this morning. It was beautiful. I'm so blessed to have Drew as a daddy to Kerrington, he is so loving and caring toward her.

Happy 3 months Kerrington and Happy 1st Father's Day Drew! Love you both with all my heart.

Kerrington wanted to wish her daddy a very happy birthday! Drew turns 27 today! She sure loves her dad, there's no doubt about that... daddy's girl!
