What a day Drew and I had today! Compared to last February it was quite different! Last year, we were wining and dining and spending the night in a Bed & Breakfast. Wow...that was so much fun. This year though was just as fun, but for a different reason. Today we purchased our baby bedroom furniture as well as the baby bedding. We also organized gifts that we have received from the shower we had from Drew's hometown. We definitely didn't plan on all this today, but we are so glad that it all came together. Our furniture is purchased, we're just waiting for it to come in to the warehouse. We stumbled across the bedding when we were in search for furniture. After a night of thinking, we decided to go with a more 'unisex' bedding, it was just too cute, and would fit perfectly in the room. The clothes we have so far have been washed in Dreft, and the devices we've received are being charged. We even developed our birth plan and started the hospital bag!
It's just unreal to think that our little baby will be here with us next month (Lord willing)!!! It is definitely a work in progress, but I am thankful that God provides and we've been able to get what we've needed so far. It was a very different Valentines Day than last, instead of our love for each other just being focused on one another, it was also focused on this baby growing inside me as well.
