Kerrington took her first bottle today. I'll eventually be going back to work so we needed to make sure she would take to a bottle. I'm not even sure why we worried... she did wonderful! Dad did pretty well too. He really enjoyed getting to feed hus daughter for the first time.
We had our 1 month check up on Wednesday. Dr. Bird said she was perfect once again, and of course we couldn't agree more! I missed the weight on the screen, but if I would have caught it, it would have said 8 lbs 13 oz, gaining 2 pounds since birth! She's also gained 1 inch, now at 20 1/2 inches long. She's in the 36th percentile for weight and length. Kerrington also recieved another shot, but was easily calmed. What a big girl we have!
Our girl also took a nap in her bed for the first time this week! Miss Kerrington is a napper and sleeper who still likes to be close to her mommy or daddy, so this was a big achievement. Although it was only for about 30-45mins, it was enough to allow me to finish getting ready and get a coulple chores done. We'll see how this first develops over time...Oh! One more exciting first... Kerrington slept for five straight hours last night! That was her longest stretch so far and made mommy and daddy so happy!
