Happy 7 Months Kellan!
You turned 7 months on our Nations Birthday! We were up in Indiana celebrating with Gigi and Papa, but I managed to snap some pictures of you before we left. I remember your sister at this month distinctly because this was the exact month that it became more difficult to get a picture of you not moving...
Okay, so here's what you're up to these days:
- 6-9 month clothing, but you're leaning towards the 9 month clothing. After all, you were a honkin 18 lbs 9 oz at your 6 month check up.
- Size 3 diapers
- Breastfeeding, just about every 3 hours still. You'll go 4 sometimes, and a few nights you'll actually go a bit longer, but not too often. You're eating twice a day, but I'm gonna start feeding you 3 times a day. You always look so jealous when we go to eat lunch, like we are leaving you out! I think you're ready!
- You're on the move! You're scootin yourself all over the place! I put you down in the living room the other day, and you followed me in to the kitchen where I was unloading the dishwasher...which leads me to my next point...
- I think you're starting to develop a strong case of separation anxiety from your momma! You are a strong fella and if you want to get back to your mommy, you'll just swing your whole body which ever way I am!
- You have your two bottom teeth still, but you're definitely going to be getting your top (and I think the next bottom ones) very soon. I can see some white areas, and you drool and stick EVERYTHING in your mouth so it's just a matter of time.
- You had your first plane ride at 7 months.
- You are sitting up on your own now, but you're not so graceful when you get down to your belly. You just fall over and sometimes it's a little to hard!
- You are so happy. It's crazy. You just smile all the time! You get upset if I put you down and you don't want to be down, or if you're tired or hungry, but who wouldn't?!
We love you like crazy...all of us!! You don't know how happy you make us. Your sister always asks to see you in the morning and she just lights up when you look at her with those smiley eyes. You're a sweet, sweet boy and I can't wait to see how your personality develops over the next few months!
