Happy 10 Months Kellan!

Our sweet KB is 10 months old today. It's not right that he is in double digit months and I have to start planning for a 1st birthday party. What on earth happened to this year! (I can tell you what happened...its' two kids 2 and under...I dont' know how those mommies with 3 or more under 3 do it!)

• You're in size 4 diapers and 9 to 12 month clothing.
• You eat like a horse. For lunch today you had two jars of baby food, a strawberry (I sliced it in half and you ate both pieces...it was your sister's), half a small banana, a couple handfuls of Cheerios, some of your sister's bread. I even breast fed you not too soon after before your nap. You eat three meals a day and a couple snacks and are breastfeeding just 3 times a day now. You cut down significantly I feel like almost overnight!
• You are now sleeping through the night and no longer get up to eat. Praise-alleluia! I knew you'd figure it out eventually. You sleep from about 7:15p.m. to 7a.m. You also take two naps. One at about 9:30 or 10 in the morning and another about 2 in the afternoon. You go down really well these days. I'm thankful we stuck with letting you cry it out.
• You also learned between 9 and 10 months how to crawl on your hands and knees. You were definitely getting where you needed to go with the army crawl and still use it when you have your eye on something (or someone) but you also have mastered 'the crawl'.
• You pull yourself up on everything...and are starting to walk along furniture. I think you'll be walking before your first birthday.
• You're not talking yet. You just yell. Even then you don't do that too often. I think you have too much competition. I'm not in any hurry for you to talk, you sister does it enough for the both of you :)
• You love your momma (and I love that you love me so much). I hope you stay that way for a long time!
• You are getting your third bottom tooth. That makes a grand total of 7 so far.

The other day I was making the bed and things were pretty quiet (never good) so I went to check on you. As I was walking out of my room your army crawled out of the bathroom with an old diaper (wrapped up, and not poopy). I instantly knew you had gotten in to the trash so I went to check it out. Oh my. You had stood up at the toilet. Got the toilet paper roll off the holder and dropped it in the toilet along with pieces of a torn up magazine I had thrown away. I hope this isn't telling of the future... it sure was cute then though!

We love you to pieces. I wish you would stay this age forever. You are so much fun.
