I never could have predicted the special relationship that a mother has with her son. This lil guy has my heart. I was holding him today and just about melted. He lets me hold him, and he even holds me back.
In those moments, when he is in my arms, and rests his head on my shoulder, I want the world to stop. If I could just freeze time...
He has such a sweet, calm spirit. Today his sister got to go over to Mamaw's house for awhile so he and I had some time together. After lunch he pointed outside so we went out, in the rain. We have a few lines of paved brick in my driveway and rain will collect here. He loves to run and jump in them. It's so neat to watch his joy and innocence. I sure do love him!
