28 Weeks (on my 30th birthday)

 

 

 

How Far Along: 28 Weeks (Happy 30th birthday to me!)

Size Of Baby: He weighs 2 1/4 pounds (about the size of a large eggplant) and measures 14.8 inches from the top of his head to his heels. *update...with our unexpected visit to the hospital on Monday, we found out that lil K is in 70th percentile, weighing 2lbs 14oz, and measuring at 29 weeks! 

Total Weight Gain/Loss: I was up about 4 or 5 more pounds at my last visit...weight is not issue with me, so I don't keep too good of a track of things.

Maternity Clothes: Full force, and with heat indexes of 102 degrees, I'll be either in dresses (maxi skirts, like the pic above, are my new fav!), or at the pool this summer, thank you very much!

Best Moment This Week: 100% it was hearing and seeing Keaton this past Monday after our accident. He's looking awfully precious in there and I'm looking more and more forward to holding him in my arms. 

Gender: It's a BOY! We're keepin our one and only lil princess, and Kellan gets a lil brother to pick on (I mean love on)!

Movement: Oh yes.This guy is strong! The lil jabs and kicks have turned in to big ones...and he likes to stretch out and get his lil feet up in my ribs.

Food Craving: Well, I've been craving things to drink other than water....and I've got to have something sweet every night before bed. By the time this pregnancy is over...I'll probably have consumed about 12 gallons of ice cream.

What I Miss: Life is good. I'm happy and blessed, what more could I ask for!

Sleep: I've had a few more nights where I've had trouble falling asleep...but I think it's been related to circumstances other than pregnancy. All is good!

What I Am Looking Forward To: We're starting to get the nursery together and registering...it's becoming more real, and we're within 3 months of his arrival.

Belly Button: Innie
Symptoms: Right now, other than a growing belly, I don't have ANY pregnancy symptoms, weird huh?
