Keaton Jay Humphreys! You're 5 Months (and 1 week) old! I'm loving learning about who you're becoming. Your personality is starting to show and so far...you're HAPPY! I'm not sure if it's because you're #3, or if that's just who you are, but I'm not complaining!
Your 5 month birthday fell on the first day of Spring Break for brother and sister, so we were not home for your picture. We were some place even better...the BEACH!
To celebrate...we went to the pool! (We were at Hilton Head...so the ocean was a bit too cold. We liked the heated pool better.)
Your brother and sister love you...just a little.
You dipped your lil feet in the water, but it was soon nap time, so you and I snoozed while daddy played with big sister and brother.
What you're up to at 5 Months:
- You're in 3-6 and 6 Month clothing
- Size 3 diapers
- You're still just breastfeeding. I'll probably get you started on some cereal sometime this month, but with two other to look after, I honestly am not anxious to add another thing to our day. You're happy...what's that saying? "If it ain't broke, don't fix it?" Yeah, we'll go with that.
- You're rolling from back to belly and belly to back! It's now dangerous to leave you alone on the bed (which, to be honest, it was always dangerous with older brother and sister). I'll leave you on one spot in your room and you're somewhere different when I come back.
- You're starting to have just a little stranger anxiety....just a little. Your momma can calm you down though. Always will.
- We're gonna try to transition you to your crib. TRY. We'll see how it goes. I'm a sucker and don't like to hear my baby cry, so we'll see.
- You STILL have blue eyes. I really don't think these ones are turning brown. You also look like you're going to have blond hair. You're the lightest of my three. I love you have your own little unique look!
We LOVE you. All of us do. From your head to your toes! You're so fun, and happy, and sweet. Good baby boy. MUAH Keaton Jay!
