Drew gave me my Mother's Day gift on Saturday night because he leaves so early for church on Sunday. Drew got me a beautiful dress to wear, and from lil miss Kerrington, I received a stunning jewelry box engraved with " Happy First Mother's Day Love Kerrington". We spent the day with family, no better way to do so. It was a great day, Drew's family came up from Sellersburg and we had hot dogs and all the fixins and got to sit outside in the nice weather. Some of us even went fishing!
Of course, I couldn't/wouldn't be here without the love and hard work of my mother. There is nothing better than to be able to call your mom, your friend. Thankfully, I am able to do that. I definitely wouldn't be who I am today if it wasn't for her. Thanks, mom.
Drew's mom is pretty fantastic too. She sure didn't have it easy, but that didn't stop her from raising a respectful, kind, loving, and generous son. We're so glad she could be with us on her special day too. Thanks, Gigi.
Happy Mother's Day!
