How Far Along: 38 Weeks
Size Of Baby: He weighs about 6.8 pounds and is over 19 1/2 inches long (about the size of a leek)
Total Weight Gain/Loss: I'm nearing a 20 something weight gain. I'm not 100% sure where I started with pregnancy, but I'm better off than with my first two. I'm encouraged that it (hopefully) won't be too difficult to get these lbs off once he arrives!
Maternity Clothes: I'm to the point where maternity clothes are starting to not fit. Aye yaye! Thank goodness for the Bella Band...it holds my pants (maternity ones even) up over my big belly.
Best Moment This Week: Having the nursery totally finished and bags (minus toiletries) packed! We're ready Keaton, you can come on out now!
Gender: It's a BOY! We're keepin our one and only lil princess, and Kellan gets a lil brother to pick on (I mean love on)!

Movement: He is slowin down his movement...there is a lot less room in there these days
Food Craving: Same olds. My stomach has a lot less room also, so fitting things in there has become a challenge.
What I Miss: Life without heartburn. It's killer! *Update* Pepcid is my new best friend. Thank goodness for that little pill...goodbye heartburn!
Sleep: Tossing and turning more, and I've been waking up recently sore. I had a moment the other day when it hit me that soon, very soon, the sleepless nights will be here. I can't wait.
What I Am Looking Forward To: Holding him! I'm ready...Kellan was born at exactly 38 weeks and Kerrington at 39, so we're hoping this guy decides to come out...now!
Belly Button: I've got an outtie now.
Symptoms: Heart burn. This guy is going to have a mullet when he comes out I think!
I saw a nurse practitioner for my 37 week appointment because Dr. S was out of town. She said I was a fingertip dilated (but I think she was being generous). We had to make an unscheduled visit to Dr. S yesterday because I had a horrible migraine all weekend long (boo). I got some good medicine, that I was assured wouldn't hurt my lil Keaton, and was able to get some rest. We rescheduled my 38 week appointment until next Monday (I'll actually be 38 weeks and 5 days), in hopes that there is some more action going on. Dr. S reeeallly wants to set an induction day so that it works out for all of our schedules better...but my heart isn't settled on that quite yet. Check with me when I'm 40 weeks pregnant, and I may be singing another tune....
