Well, there is good news and bad news....

The good news: Kerrington has already become good at sharing!

The bad news: It's her germs that she's sharing...

Yesterday we had to take our 1 week 1 day old to the doctor for nasal congestion. PRAISE the Lord that the RSV swab was negative, but he likely picked up some of the virus that Kerrington started with the night before I went into labor. She (and in turn, I) was sick the whole past week with cold-like symptoms and although it probably was inevitable that he get it, I felt like a horrible parent because my helpless newborn was sick...already!

Since yesterday, I've been spraying with saline, suctioning, and dropping some antibody rich breast milk down his poor little nose. I have to say, I think there is an improvement. He doesn't sound so awful when he's breathing now. I pray that it's working and we don't have to end up in the hospital. My initial hope was to make it to Friday...that's when his well check up is. So, when you're thinking about it, send up a prayer for baby Kellan, would ya?!
